On a beautiful sunny evening in Thomastown on Friday 20th May St. Martins U14 Footballers took on Gowran in the County Final.

The game was  fought hard from the throw in with scores being hard to find for both sides  at the beginning but St. Martin’s gradually pulled away once they found their confidence between the posts.  St. Martin’s showed their strength and commitment in all quarters of  the field and were well in command at half time. After the break St. Martin’s never faltered picking their scores with great accuracy and finishing up worthy winners with a final score of 3-11 to 4 points.

Celebrations kicked into full swing with the winners reception being held in Mc Donalds for the hungry bunch.
