Martins into Final of Byrne Cup

Following Muckalee footballers qualifing for the County final last night St. Martins did likewise tonight after a hard fought victory over Dicksboro. With torrential rain during parts of the game conditions were very difficult the half time score was 1-5 to 0-5 in favour of Martins. This lead was held right to the end, final score 1-12 to 1-9.Played in James Park.

Well done to Kilkenny on retaining the U21 Leinster Hurling Championship,also to  the St.Martins lads involved Colin  McGrath ,Patrick Nolan, John Mulhall,Thomas Breen.Hard luck to James Dowling who was injured having played in all the previous rounds.
