Goal decisive
St. Martins made the long trip to Slieverue for their first match in the All County Junior League.The first was even until the last five minutes when Slieverue added three unanswered points to lead at the break 0-7 to 0-4.Martins playing with the wind took the lead and looked set for victory, but a goal for Slieverue proved decisive .Final score 1-10 to 0-12.

U16 take the points

The u16 took on Clara in the next round of the league. They proved a little to strong for a young Clara side who never gave up trying. St. Martins worked the ball well throughout the game and got some nice scores. Final score: St. Martins 3-18 Clara 1-04.

On Saturday 12th of March Kilkenny participated in the All Ireland Racquetball Club Championships. Local man, Mark Murphy was Kilkenny’s team captain and the other members included John Comerford (O’Loughlins) and Don Lalor (Clogh).

Following the restart Martins got a free which was put over the bar. Then Martins got in for 2 goals before Thomastown replied with a point. Thomastown continued to attack but Martins backs held strong. Final score St. Martins 2-10 Thomastown 0-11 .
