Win in local derby

St.Martins made the short journey to play Erin Own in their grounds at Ballyhemmon.At half time the sides were level at six points each. Martins upped their game on the resumption and scored some fine points put the Castlecomer side  levelled with the only goal of the game but Martins were not to be denied and added many fine points to win on the final score of 0-18 to 1-8.
