U16 take on Conahy Shamrocks at home in the Duggan Steel League.

Monday evening 1st July saw St. Martins U16 hurlers taking on Conahy Shamrocks in Muckalee. Conahy opened their account first by pointing a free but the Martins Lads found their stride and began to take their scores from some great play. A little indiscipline seemed to keep Conahy in the game as most of their scores came from the placed ball while the St. Martins defence kept control of the  Conahy attack. 1-8 to 1-5 in favour of the home side was on the board at the break.

From the second half throw in St. Martins piled on the pressure and seemed in complete control of the game while showing some great skill and commitment in defence and able to pick off great scores in the forwards. St. Martins finished up victors with a final score of 1-18 to 1-11.
