Quarter final
St Martins qualified for the quarter final of the Championship and the Shield Final of the League after a hard fought victory over Graigue -Ballycallan in Palmerstown. Martins started well but it was the Ballycallan side who led at the break 1-11 to 1-9.A well taken goal by Joe Maher put a good gloss on the score board after Martins were six points down .Wind assisted Martins came back well and with John Maher very good from frees scoring seven , kept a determined Ballycallan at bay.The result was in doubt right into added time when a great save from a twenty metre free by Colin McGrath was followed by the final whistle. Full time score 1-19 to 1-17.
