Killeedy Cup Win


All roads led to Raheenagh County Limerick today for Semi Final of the All Ireland Junior B Hurling Championship. It was an early startĀ  with snow on the hills when the bus set out at 8.30.on the 360k round trip.Padraigh Pearses of Galway were our opponents and it was clear after the the Referee got the game going that it was going to be a great contest with both sides giving their all inpursuit of victory.The Galway side had the better of first and led at the break 0-7 to 0-5,despite having a man sent off.Saint Martins really got into their rythm and the scores started to flow on the resumption Pearses did not get on the scoreboard until late in the game and with Martins five points up with the game going into added timeĀ  were happy to hang on for a one point win and a place in The All Ireland Final for The Killeedy Cup.
