U14 show fighting spirit.

Monday night 25th June saw St. Martin’s U14 hurlers take on Tullogher in Coon. St. Martin’s were in no doubt about the job in hand and they came out fighting. A tough fought firsts half saw the visitors lead by 4 pints at half time but the lads put their shoulders to the wheel and fought hard but couldn’t get the scores on the board and saw the gap widening with 10 minutes to go. However this group of U14s were not going to leave it behind and battled right down to the final whistle and ended up with a draw. Final scores St. Martins 2-13, Tulloger 4-7.

Great credit to the boys for a wonderful mornings hurling.
