Minor Footballers bow out of League

St Martins bowed out of the Minor Football League where the early concession of goals in both halves proved very costly. Missing over ten players due to injury & county commitments they found themselves 1-2 to no score down after 7 minutes but they rallied back to 1-4 to 0-3 before St Fiacres struck another 1-2 to leave it 2-6 to 0-4 at the break.

Another early St Fiacres goal put them 3-8 to 0-4 clear but Martins fought back getting three goals and two points but they ran out of steam towards the end and time.

Final score; St Martins 3-6  to  3-11 St Fiacres
