Saint Martins and Clara played a high scoring triller in the opening round of the Senior League .Clara had first advantage of a strong wind and raced into an early lead after the early exchanges they lead 1-3 to 0-0.Martins settled and got more into the game to lead at halftime 2-10 to 2-8 .
Martins upped their game but with wides from play and frees could not shake off a battling Clara efford .Still it looked like Martins had done enough when leading by two points but Clara hit back to level matters in the final moments .Final Score 2-17 each

Saint Martins travelled to Wexford to take on Buffers Alley in the second round of the Leinster League. Conditions were poor with wind and rain throughout. A three point win meant Martins were the happier after a good contest. Saint Martins are are now on full points after their recent win over The Harps in Muckalee.
Kilmacow take points
Saint Martins lost out to a good Kilmacow side in this All County Junior League game played in Muckalee.The Saints dominated the first half and led by 1-6 0-5 at half time aided by the wind.Kilmacow upped their game in the second period to run out easy winners Final Score 1-18 1-8

Junior b Start defence of Title
Holders Saint Martins start the defence of the Junior B League with an away match versus Clara on 11th April. This will be the first of two meetings with Clara this month as we clash again on 26th in the Senior Hurling League at Johns Park. Preperations are going well under new manager Nicky Cashin.
