Muckalee loose out
Muckalee came up short in the County senior football semifinal against reigning champions Railyard, the game was play in Erins Own ground. The sides were level at the break 0-3 each. On a difficult day for football scores were hard to come by but it was Railyard who qualified for the final on the scoreline 0-7 to 0-6.

Saint Martins u14 Hurlers held a long puck competition on Sunday 13/3/2016 to select our representative in Gowran Park next Saturday. Those taking part were Thomas Lalor, Shane O Neill, Russel Kiely, Bill Dowling, Matthew Shortall, Patrick Brennan, Josh Dempsey, Thomas Flynn, Kyle Walsh and the winner after a close contest was Jack Farrell. St. Martins played Gowran in the Roinn A North Group B Football League in Muckalee. In a keenly contested game St.Martins were in the lead at the break 0-4 to 0-1. Gowrans got in for three goals and held out for a win despite the efforts of the home side who pressed hard for an equaliser . Final score Gowran 3-2, Saint Martins 0-8.

Muckalee make Semis
Muckalee and James Stephens clashed in the quarter final of the Senior Football Championship in a home venue under lights . Muckalee started well and took a two point lead, but the visitors took over scoring 1-5 without reply, the goal coming from a well struck penalty. A goal in the closing moments of the half from John Mulhall with the assist from John Maher closed the gap, half-time score 1-5 to 1-3. Muckalee needed to up their game and with a good spread of scores throughout the team they made it into the semi-final helped by a goal from Tom Morrissey with the assist from Tom Breen. Final score 2-14 to 1-6.

Carrickshock win
Carrickshock were the visitors to Muckalee for this Junior Football League game and they went away with the points.Three goals scored in the opening half gave the visitors a big advantage at the break 3-4 to 0-2. Muckalee kept trying and scored two goals from Conor Dowling and Mark Murphy, final score 3-12 to 2-5.
