Congratulations to all involved with Kilkenny on their tremendious win in yesterdays All-Ireland Final against Tipperary . A special mention to our own Paul Kinsella County Board Chairman and John Mulhall who done well when called upon in the final stages of the game to collect his first Senior All -Ireland medal.

U14 Hurlers continue their training for Championship glory.
St. Martin’s U14 hurlers took on Tullaroan in a challenge game under lights in Muckalee Friday night 2nd September. The game was an opportunuty to try out different formats, positions and players and it proved a great success in the end. Tullaroan being a Roinn B team was always going to be a challenge.
St. Martin’s found it very difficult to find the target and left many good scoring chances behind them in the first half however after some talking and changing things around at the break St. Martin’s lads came out on fire and finished out winners with a final score of 3-6 to 1-6.
Scrap Metal for club finishing this weekend. No material accepted after Saturday 3rd September.
A big thank you form St. Martin’s Football Club and St. Martin’s Hurling Club to all who donated and helped with the Scrap Metal Drive in Aid of Developments to the Fields and facilities.
Your help is greatly appreciated and we will be closing the drive this weekend, so no materials will be accepted after Saturday 3rd next.
