Minors loose out to Tullaroan

The Minors played Tullaroan in the shield semi-final on Sunday morning in Tullaroan. It was a bright morning for hurling but bitterly cold. Tullaroan started well with a quick goal. St Martins replied with a pointed free by Ruairi Kinsella. St Martins continued to work hard and at half time trailed by a goal St. Martins 0-05 Tullaroan 1-05. It was Tullaroan who started the second half the better with 2 unanswered points before they got a goal which was saved by David Breen but rebounded into the goal. Martins continued to work hard but were unable to close the gap. Final score St. Martins 0-09 Tullaroan 3-07.

St.Martins Hurling Club AGM
St. Martins Hurling Club AGM will take place on Saturday 22nd January in Coon Hall at 8.30. All are welcome.
Bord Na Nog AGM
St. Martins Bord Na Nog AGM will take place on Friday 14th January at 7.30 in Muckalee Community Centre. The Board would welcome and encourage as many as possible to attend the meeting. Bord Na Nog exists to look after the welfare of all our young players and so it is very important that the club has input from all parents and interested parties so that the club can continue to serve their sporting needs. Therefore, the club invites anyone not currently involved but would like to contribute in any way, to come along to the meeting. Hoping to see you there.

Club suppoters stickers are now available. Contact the shop or send in stamped self addressed envelope including 3 Euro per sticker and we will do the rest. Don’t forget all money raised in the Club goes towards the running of the Club so all help is greatly appreciated. Also send in your pictures of your sticker and lets see how far we can spread the St. Martin’s Club and also join us on facebook and post your sticker locations.
