Two unbeaten Teams played out a decent game to decide which was to qualify for the quarter final of the Leinster League.Ballyboden Saint Endas made the long trip to Muckalee and put in a good first half to lead at the break 0-11 to 1-6. Martins upped their game and finished strongly to go through on the score of 2-16 to 0-16

Good win for U-16 team
The u16 played Lisdowney in their second game of the league. They got a good start and went in at half time leading by 3-6 to 1-8. Following the break they got some good points and eventually won by 4-14 o 2-12. This was a good team performance.

Seniors Draw
Saint Martins and Clara played a high scoring triller in the opening round of the Senior League .Clara had first advantage of a strong wind and raced into an early lead after the early exchanges they lead 1-3 to 0-0.Martins settled and got more into the game to lead at halftime 2-10 to 2-8 .
Martins upped their game but with wides from play and frees could not shake off a battling Clara efford .Still it looked like Martins had done enough when leading by two points but Clara hit back to level matters in the final moments .Final Score 2-17 each

League Final Tickets for Thurles
The League Final in Thurles is an all ticket affair and all ticket orders must be in with the Club Secretary by 12 noon on Monday 27th April.
The Stand ticket price is € 25-00 for Adults and € 5-00 for Juveniles.
The Terrace is € 15-00 and note, there is only 1 terrace going to be open.
There are also OAP and Student concessions available for the Stands only.
Good win for Minors
The minors played Tullaroan in the second round of the league this evening. It was a good game played in ideal conditions. St martins started well and went in at half time 2-5 to 0-2. They continued the hard work and finished easy winners in the end. Final score 2-14 to 1-07.

The Leinster League match against Ballyboden St Enda’s will now take place on Tuesday 28th at 7.30 in Muckalee.
Feile Competition
St Martins u-14 played 3 matches in the Feile Competition on saturday in Johns Park. Their first game was against Clara . This game was very even and the sides were level at half time St.Martins 0-5 to Clara 1-2. In the second half we held on to win by a point. Final score St.M 0-8 Clara 1-4.
Their second game was against Danesfort. It was a close first half with Danesfort leading by a point 2-1 to 0-8 at half time. In the second half Danesfort up their game and finished much stronger to win by 2-2 to 0-15.
Their next game was against the home team O Loughlins who were much stronger and won easily. Overall the lads had a enjoyable day and the weather was nice.
