Inter-County Bounty Leaderboard Week 3
After three rounds of the Leinster and two rounds of Munster Round Robin series completed leaders are starting to emerge in the leaderboard with a number of people correctly predicting a draw in the Tipp-Cork clash in Munster. Jonathan O Shea and Ollie Kiernan are the two men at the top with a combined total of 50 points. In the scoring stakes Joe Bergin still holds the lead in Leinster with 2-05 scored from play after three rounds. In Munster it is much more congested with Tony Kelly and John Conlon of Clare top of the pile with 1-08 each after two rounds of action with the McGrath brothers of Tipperary and Seamus Harnedy also adding nicely to their tallies.

Dissapointment for u14 Hurlers
Saint Martins and Piltown played their long awaited u14 Roinn B Hurling Championship Final in Ballyhale. In a championship that started with 17 teams both sides played their way to this final with some fine wins in what was a very competitive grade. On the day it was the lads from the south that finished as worthy Champions. The game started evenly with chances for both sides but Piltown took a grip on the game to leave the half-time score 1-9 to 0-2. Saint Martins responded in the second half to get well into the game and close the gap but a goal to Piltown settled matters with time almost up. Disappointment then for the Saint Martins team but they can look back on a great years hurling, winning the League , contesting the Feile Final and reaching the county final. Bord NaOg laid on refreshments for the team at the Ranchers Return. Final score 2-10 to 0-8.
